Here’s hoping I still feel that way in the morning.

After some tumultuous moments and loooonnnngg delays over the last four months, the second printing of Return of the Sword is imminent. I certainly hope that all the set up that goes into creating a publishing house, establishing accounts, applying for recognition and then registering and requesting all sorts of different things does not have to be repeated for each title. Egads! What a horrible thought.

No, I think the vast majority of this stuff had to be done only once. Then there was the ‘mastering’ of the software and meeting the specifications of submission for printing. The (Oh I sure hope so) final text file was submitted to the printer this evening. I won’t know if it’s correct and if I’m successful finally until tomorrow morning (and if I’m not, I’ll have to wait until I get home from work to try again). I believe I met everything this time. I took notes on how to do it again, so I should be able to repeat my performance. Oh, I hope it’s good to go tomorrow.

Then the next step is to receive the proof – which, if the file does its job, should be fine, as I’ve already done that elsewhere and this is just a reassurance proof. THEN RotS2 will finally be for sale again! I sure hope all this falls into place, as Mr. Ehart requested copies of the new cover to take to Orycon in, ahem, 10 days.
