Return of the Sword is officially RBE’s first publication.

It’s so nice to finally be able to say that. Gone is the association with Flashing Swords – “Rogue Blades Presents” replacing ”Flashing Swords Presents” as the series name – Rogue Blades Productions replacing Flashing Swords Press as the publishing imprint – House von Darkmoor LLC replacing Cyberwizard Productions as the parent company.

Remaining the same is the great corporate logo by Mike Jackson (with iconic character Kaimer soon to have tales of his own out and about), the awesome cover and art by Johnney Perkins (half a year away from having a matching book in the series), the terrific contents (still receiving rave comments), and yours truly, the humble editor (still plugging along).

Those of you hosting old links to the book, please update both images and links. For those of you willing to provide linkage and/or advertisements, here’s the front and full covers, new and improved:

My thanks to one and all for you awesome and inspiring support throughout this past year!

Congrats, man! The cover looks great–love the addition of the quotation from Ryan Harvey on the back.

I’ll get something up on my blog soon.

Good Job, Jas! I know lots of hard work and time and energy went into this. The quotes and praises look great!

PS~Thanks for coming to my rescue today :)

  3. von Darkmoor says:

Thanks, Nik. There’s four pages of accolades to open the book now, too. I chose every one of them, yet I still get a thrill out of reading them every time I open the book. I definitely have to get RotB out there early enough to include those from the beginning.

Thanks, love! Your support throughout every moment of this has been tremendously needed and appreciated :)

  4. Ty says:

A great cover just got greater! Congrats, Jason. You deserve all the accolades you get, and then some.

  5. von Darkmoor says:

Thank you very much, Ty. Now to get the book back out there on the circuit, gaining some well-deserved attention for its authors and artists. I’m going to be sending it along to a few reviewers who didn’t get it the first time through, so keep your fingers crossed that they’ll even read it this late in the game.

  6. NewGuyDave says:

The book looks great. Congrats on the second printing!

  7. hvond says:

Thanks, Dave. It’s good to hear that from all readers/owners of the original RotS.

Oh, and Ty – the accolades aren’t for me; they’re two pages for the book itself, and two pages for the individual stories. I’ll be mailing out the contributor copies piecemeal, as I must balance meeting that obligation with current and coming obligations, but you’ll see it eventually :)

  8. Allen B. Lloyd says:

It looks great Jason. I’m looking forward to seeing a copy.

  9. von Darkmoor says:

Hey, hi Allen! Nice to have you visit. I’m glad you like it – I can’t wait to hear what all my authors have to say of it :)

  10. Jeff Draper says:

Does this change the amazon.com listing? What should we link to to sell it?

  11. von Darkmoor says:

Yes. And good second question. I’m creating the PayPal code now to place on the RBE site, so you could always link to the RotS page itself. I will have to find out how long it takes for the book to show up on Amazon.

  12. Bill Ward says:

Excellent! Can’t wait to see it. I’ll have to get to work updating those links now…

  13. Bruce Durham says:

Looking good! I love the idea of the pull-quotes.
