Modern art, being a daddy, & school projects

Artistry and I went different directions back around the 5th grade.

Oh, I enjoyed drafting in high school and I can still render a pretty mean doodle, but actual drawings… Well, let’s just say I leave those up to the many fantastic artists that grace this world. Pictionary and homemade cards are about all that receive my colored attention these days. Till a child calls that is.

And has a project due. That apparently allows for parental involvement. That said child claims only daddy can deliver.

So I sit down and do so. Deliver. Render whatever it is my offspring instructs me to. In this case, Odysseus seeing his mother’s shade in Hades.
